Singers, this is your chance to sing in an opera chorus directed by Vincent Centeno of the Cascadia Concert Opera! Even if you can’t sing for the entire season with the North Coast Chorale you would be so welcome to sing for this 9/28 production!
North Coast Chorale is calling for singers! It’s nearly fall and we can’t keep from singing!
The North Coast Chorale, directed by Dr. Denise Reed is calling for singers to participate in its fall and winter concerts! Dr. Reed invites all singers to participate, including those who have not previously sung with a choral group!
Rehearsals, held at the CCC Performing Arts Center (PAC) at the corner of Franklin and 16th in Astoria begin as follows:
• Tuesday August 26, 6:45, for bass and tenor singers,
• Tuesday September 2, 6:45 for the entire North Coast Chorale,
• Tuesday September 9: 4:45 for the Clatsop County Children’s Chorus, 6:45 Chorale singers.
What is the North Coast Chorale up to this fall?
• Sunday September 28 at 3:00, Cascadia Concert Opera will present Beethoven’s opera Fidelio, as a benefit for the CCC Performing Art Center. The North Coast Chorale will be joining with Cascadia in this event and additional singers are needed.
• Sunday November 30, the Chorale presents it’s annual Community Messiah Sing-Along Play-Along, as a benefit for local food programs.
• Saturday and Sunday December 13 and 14 the Chorale presents it’s Holiday Traditions concert.
• Saturday December 20 the Chorale participates in the North Coast Symphonic Band concert.
