Don’t miss this mini-opera by Gian-Carlo Menotti, starring the chorale’s own Louise Goyena, Ann Bronson, Will Caplinger and John Dahlsten, along with Deac Guidi and Michael Campellone. With shepherds and shepherdesses from the chorale bringing the fruits of the season and good cheer, and dancing, singing and great accompaniment on two pianos.
The Performing Arts Center in Astoria on 16th and Franklin is the venue, and some pretty amazing set work by Joseph Goyena and John Dahlsten (among others) lights up the stage.
